This week we spent it with PHP part. It was very hard as we try our best to find the resource which can help us to link between our SQL to our website. We tried to follow up the steps which we found from deferent resources but unforgettably we got error on each time. Finally we went to our instructor and he helped us. So now we have to follow his instructions and we hope it will be solve.

New step

As I said before I have done my part, however while I checked my work I found out a mistake on the last query so I redid it again and submit it to my friend. Also we sat together and discussed the design part and we put out the flow chart for our website. So now we can start to link between our databases to our website by using PHP.

As I said before that I had done my part, but I have to see what my group had been done. At the same time I have to explain my part to them. Furthermore, to allow my group see my SQL part anytime I decided to give them my SQL part. So now everyone in my group has my part and they can use it as they want and like. Finally, I can say that time of individual work have done; however, time of group work is coming on.

I can say that I’m really success on using SQL. I had done the all queries and find the solution for queries number 23 as the problem was I left the space. now I finish my part “individual part” and I have work with my group explain the SQL for them and see what they are do and how they are work so far.

How important to use what we had learned. Actually I’m very happy because I think that I’m working hard and very well on this project. I had done all queries except one query I don’t know why I’m sure that the code is right, but maybe there is a very small mistake. I can’t forget that day when I started to create query, as I didn’t have any result, but they showed me that there is an error. I checked the code, checked the selection, rechecked, but I didn’t find any things. Finally the mistake was in table name as I put the space in the field name. Any way now I had done 22 queries, saved queries in the bookmark and created the 22 views to make it easy to use in our website.

Nice feeling

It is very nice feeling when you learn new things. Now I can say that I had a good knowledge in SQL as I can:
- Creating databases and databases file
- Creating data types and tables
- Create indexes
- Create and manage views
- Create stored procedures (with and without parameterized)
- Create and using functions
- Transfer the SQL code to XML
In addition, the most important things that I had export the data “perfume” from MS Access to SQL. So I had my tables in SQL. Now I’m working on my queries.

Great week

This week was great week with this project as I think that I did very good job. First of all, I downloaded the XAMPP and used it. Now I know more about XAMPP program, the feather which provided by it and how to use it. What’s more I found the way which allowed me to transfer the data from M. S. Access to SQL. In addition, I leant how to create queries in the SQL which was the new interesting knowledge. I’m really was very happy because I found out the answer of my question (how to transfer the data from M. S. Access to SQL?), at the same time, I learnt new things which it “create queries using SQL”.
